- First or Most Memorable Visit to the Shop: Bob said, "First, I have been to cue shops all over the country. Over the last 30 or so years I've visited Rocky Tulles in Tampa, Abe Rich in Miami, Southwest in Las Vegas, Richard Black, outside of Houston (He had a different shop. Really cool, sat behind a mansion.), and, of course, Gus Szamboti's place. Black Boar is the most impressive shop I've ever seen. It is the most extensive in terms of volume of equipment. It is hands down the cleanest shop I've ever seen and easily the most guest friendly. Tony is always ready to entertain."
When I asked Bob about his most memorable visit he counted it as his most recent. We were thrilled to have him visit. Our interview went off on several tangents that taught me a great deal. He told me told me old war stories about gambling and the like, about great famous players, the history and evolution of some tours and so much more. Truly, his latest visit was one of my most memorable days at the shop."
