- How did you Come to Buy your Black Boar:The cue was purchased by Bill Grassley of Cornerstone Custom Cues during the summer of 2006. I purchased the cue a couple of months later. The cue immediately went to Tony for a clean up (refinished the butt, buffed out the forearm, installed a lizard wrap, resurfaced the joint faces on the shafts, cleaned the shafts, replaced the ferrules with ivory ferrules and installed new tips).
- How does your Black Boar play vs. other cues:I noticed a huge difference in play between the 4-pointers and the 6-pointers that I tested. The 6-pointers were firm but with very lively shafts and that complimented my style of play very well. I play a notch or two higher with my Black Boar over the other cues I own (Schick, Bender, Scruggs, Tascarella, and Showman). Maybe I just love the design or the feel of it in my hands – don’t know but would love to find a second cue to see if they play close to the one I currently have.
