- Your First Introduction to a Black Boar cue: My first introduction to a Black Boar cue came during a class with Larry Z. (owner) at First Break Billiards. He had a very simple 6-pointer. I picked up the cue to test out and did not want to put it down. During some league play in TAP at First Break Billiards, I had a chance to test out a couple of 4-pointers and one additional 6-pointer owned by Terry W.
- Your First or Most Memorable Visit to Shop:
I visited Tony’s shop for the first time during the summer of 2006 when I needed my cue refinished (ding in the butt - clear coat was chipped). I was impressed with all the machines that Tony had set up specifically for each operation and the most of all was impressed with all the detail work going into the cue that was being designed to match a set of earrings.
I was also surprised to see some of Tony’s other passions that we manage to share: motorcycles, bicycles, guns and reloading (I only reload pistol ammo).
